I am an acrylic/mixed media painter. I work mainly in acrylics but like to add charcoal, graphite and my own handmade collage papers and stamps. I work intuitively; each new mark a response to previous ones, it ebbs and flows through layers that could not be achieved in one pass. Turning the canvas frequently, I continue adding and subtracting until I find my direction. It’s a process I enjoy and quite often ends up in places that surprise me! My work is colorful, whimsical and I’ve been told it makes people smile.
